Feel like you're 'behind' on your career goals? Read this.

💸 Is it time for a raise?

No matter who you are, talking money can feel awkward or daunting. It’s no surprise that when you’re from an underrepresented group this feeling can be intensified, especially if you’re an ‘only’ and imposter syndrome sets in. But the truth is you belong, you’re an asset and you DESERVE to be paid well.

At Hustle Crew we have three golden rules from our founder Abadesi to help you secure the bag you deserve 💰

  1. Understand your worth by making sure you know exactly what you bring to the table

  2. Master the art of negotiation and back yourself with market research

  3. Develop an awareness of implicit bias because understanding the barriers to your success can help you combat them

A friendly reminder to slow down and enjoy the journey 🐢

These days, the internet is flooded with huge salaries, massive raises and viral growth overnight? We’re here for sharing our wins, but it can lead to comparison and frustration — which was incredibly draining. There’s pressure to always ‘do more’, but what’s the point if you’re burned out or too down to actually enjoy life?

The biggest growth comes when we soak up new learnings, share those skills with our community and take time to figure out the next step. Here’s a reminder than there’s no ‘right time’, except what works for you. Successful careers take time and nurturing to build. You’re going to be okay.
