Recommended Program global rollout with GWI

Background

GWI is a global company that focuses on providing audience insight to marketers, media agencies, and publishers. The company has been growing rapidly, and by realizing its expansion to the global space, it decided to take its employees through diversity and inclusion (D&I) training as a way of growing company awareness and it’s solidifying a more positive, inclusive culture. 

Workshop Style

The program involved a company-wide rollout with 21 workshops taking place - focusing on understanding bias and 21 workshops focusing on fostering inclusion among the employees.  All participants also took part in an accountability session which is offered to everyone who took part in the recommended programme. As an added bonus, all participants were then enrolled on the membership which offers further learning opportunities through provided resources, videos, a varied wiki and more.

SLT Workshop

The Senior Leadership team took part in their own 2-hour workshop which was hosted by two of Hustle Crew’s senior consultants. The main topics discussed in the workshop included leading with vulnerability, embracing our whole identities and intersectionality, optimizing inclusion and diversity in the c-suite, and dealing with difficult conversations about privilege and lived experiences. Measures were put in place to provide a safe environment for senior leadership teams to learn about diversion and inclusion. The main role of Hustle Crew consultants was to coach them to develop an authentic, inclusive leadership style. 

Outcomes

GWI was extremely satisfied with the service Hustle Crew delivered.

The results were impressive, with the value of diversity increasing from 61% in 2020 to 90% in 2021. A total of 200 participants took part in the program, which saw an increase of 22% in their D&I survey results in the one year period. Chelsea Coates, chief of people states;
